| The SplashCam line is used quite often to perform the unfortunate task of searching for victims of foul play or drowning. The cameras can be used to search large areas and areas that divers are unsafe for anything other than short periods of time. The cameras have been used to locate victims in rivers, lakes as well as other dangerous areas of diving. The most common system will include a camera with 200ft. cable, a small LCD monitor, a battery to run the system, a small digital video recorder and if searching a large area a GPS overlay unit.
